10mm Glorious Revolution 1688 – King James’ Army
The Whole 10mm Army.
With the addition of the Irish contingent the project is at last finished. Opposition sometime in 2014 maybe. Bit light on artillery, I’ll correct that when doing the Williamite opposition.
All figures are Pendraken; old list LoA army pack supplemented Marlburian and SYW figures. None of the depicted formations are intended to be representative, more of a ‘generic’ nature.
Command
Commander in Chief and Staff.
Major Generals of Artillery, Foot and Horse.
Brigadier Generals.
The Irish (regulars)
Horse
Dragoons
Foot
The Scots.
Regular Horse.
Regular Foot.
Highland Clans.
Armed Civilian Covenanters, somewhat augmented.
The English (regulars)
Dragoons.
Foot.
Artillery.

Very, very nice!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ray. I think I'll run out of steam well before you do with your impressive project!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
George
A very nice army, great work!
ReplyDeletePhil.
Cheers Phil, it's a work in progress which hopefully will get finished!
ReplyDeleteThey look great...Love the highlanders
ReplyDeleteAll the best
Sean
Cheers Sean. The Highlanders are two for the price of one as they appear here and in a Montrose civil war force.
ReplyDeleteI was going to buy the new LOA range from them, but seeing as this is my first venture in 10mm decided to follow your example and pick up the Jacobite Army deal. Thanks for putting up some inspiring pics!
ReplyDeleteThe old list figures are a bit smaller and are less detailed than the new ones. Which makes the supplementary figures I used to fill in gaps easy to spot. Good luck with the project Matt, patience is a virtue, you'll get there in the end!
ReplyDeleteLovely mini army!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
Thanks Peter, one of these days I'll have to settle on one scale and stick to it.
